Archive for December, 2008

So last weekend I took a trip to NJ to see Kevin Bolembach of Godlyke fame to pick up the new bass!  It is beautiful, and I’m really looking forward to recording with it.  He’s such a great guy he even hooked me up with some string sets.  I’ve been doing some action tweeking, but I’m hoping to get right down to business with it next week.

Until I get a real review going, you can find pics of it here.  Kev actually took them, so I can’t take credit :-) I’ll do a full review eventually.

Ross thinks I’m crazy for owning a 10 string bass, but I think he’s crazy for owning a billion Strats.

Toontrack Music announces the release of Drumtracker

Finally the long awaited (and announced) title in the Toontrack Music Toontrack Software Tools series is ready for release. Taking a new angle on the conversion of drum audio to drum MIDI and drum sound replacement, Drumtracker features stand alone operation and all out manual operation. Like other tools in the TST series Drumtracker is compatible with all major drum sampler MIDI mappings in the market. Drumtracker is another step in Toontrack Music’s endeavor to deliver a complete solution for production, composition and drum performance for players and producers alike. Drumtracker will be available through Toontrack Music distributors and retailers at the end of December.
